4th Grade:

Parents and Students must arrive by 4:00 PM. The Orientations will be housed in the 4th grade homeroom teacher’s classroom. Please enter through the main entrance. Lists will be available at PPA. Please plan on arriving a few minutes early so you can locate your teacher’s classroom. Orientations will begin promptly at 4:00 PM and last for one hour.

5th Grade:

Parents and Students must arrive by 7:00 PM. The Orientations will be housed in the 5th grade homeroom teacher’s classroom. Please enter through the main entrance. Lists will be available at PPA. Please plan on arriving a few minutes early so you can locate your teacher’s classroom. Orientations will begin promptly at 7:00 PM and last for one hour.

6th Grade:

Parents and Students must arrive by 2:00 PM. The Orientation will begin in the Preparatory Cafeteria. You may enter directly through the Cafeteria. Please plan on arriving a few minutes early as we will begin promptly at 2:00 PM. The first 30-40 minutes will be spent in the Cafeteria reviewing changes that occur from 5th grade to Middle School. After the presentation is completed students and parents will follow their children’s schedules. Students will go to their 4 core classes (Math, Language Arts, Social Studies, and Science). At this time the syllabus will be reviewed. The last 10-15 minutes will be spent assigning lockers and allowing students to put their locks on their lockers.

7th Grade:

Parents and Students must arrive by 7:00 PM. The Orientations will be housed in the 7th grade 1st period teacher’s classroom. Please enter through the main entrance. Lists will be available at PPA. Please plan on arriving a few minutes early so you can locate your teacher’s classroom. Students and parents will spend 15 minutes in each of the 4 core classes (Math, Language Arts, Social Studies, and Science). At this time the teachers will review their syllabus and classroom expectations.

8th Grade:

Parents and Students must arrive by 7:00 PM. The Orientations will be housed in the Preparatory Cafeteria. Please enter directly through the Prep Cafeteria. Please plan on arriving a few minutes early so you can locate your teacher’s classroom. Orientations will begin promptly at 7:00 PM and last for one hour. We will review all important information for 8th graders, high school requirements, course schedules, and other important information.

 

Sneak-A-Peek

Wednesday, August 19th

 

Kdg. Only          12:oo-1:00pm

Parents and students will come to the school to visit the student’s classroom and meet the teacher.  Students should bring their supplies and leave them in the classroom.  Car tags will be given to parents.  The Car Circle drop off and pick up will be demonstrated for a better understanding of what to expect the first day.  The use of Car Tags will be enforced beginning the first day of school!

 

Grs. 1, 2, 3         5:30-6:30pm

Parents and students will come to the school to visit the student’s classroom and meet the teacher.  Students should bring their supplies and leave them in the classroom.  Car tags will be given to parents.  The use of Car Tags will be enforced beginning the first day of school!

 

Open House – Mandatory for Parents

Tuesday, August 25th

Gr. K-3                6:00 or 7:00pm

Parents must attend one of two presentations.  Your child’s classroom teacher will give only two presentations.  The teacher will explain their expectations, projects, curriculum, etc.   Due to the limited amount of space, it is suggested that if possible, students do not attend the Open House.
